My Shaklee 180 Turnaround - April 24th 2013

Been a while since I've last posted. Been working a lot and been on the road more than usual. I've been in Denver, London and soon to be in Austin, Texas.

When I'm on the road it's hard to eat right and to do my walking. When I am home I have been walking for an hour on the treadmill or outside since the weather is starting to get warmer.

My weight has been hovering in the 188 to190 range. I want to be at 185 when softball season starts which is 3 weeks away for my first game.

Have religiously had my smoothees in the morning when I'm not on the road. When working out of town, I have meal bars in the morning and sometimes for lunch too.

Without exercise I would be back over 200 pounds.

My Shaklee 180 Turnaround - February 7, 2013

Been working some late hours at work and have not been walking. Have also been eating late dinners. I believe that's the cause of my weight gain lately.

I did manage to walk on the treadmill tonight. Got off work at the normal time and ate dinner at the usual time. Walked for 50 minutes and burned 550 calories.

Been having smoothee's for breakfast and 180 snack bars for breaks but definitely need to do my walking to maintain my weight.

My original goal was 185. I found that I feel better at 180 to 182. Starting to feel sluggish at 185.

My Shaklee 180 Turnaround - January 29th 2013

Didn't walk when I was in Vegas and only walked on the treadmill twice in six days when I got back. My weight shot up to 184.4. Without exercise I could see my weight gain going into the 190's in a hurry.

Started back to walking regularly yesterday and today. Started walking on the treadmill with a 10 pound weight in each hand. Both times I exercised for 46 minutes, burning 506 calories. I have to believe I burned more than 506 calories with the additional 20 pounds.

Still starting each day with a Shaklee 180 smoothee. Morning breaks consist of a snack bar with an occasional meal-in-a-bar for lunch.

I'm going to cut down my posts to once or twice a week to keep from being redundant and monotonous.

Mixed cafe latte and chocolate smoothee for breakfast this morning. Had a lemon cranberry crunch bar for morning break. For lunch I had a peanut butter chocolate chip meal-in-a-bar. Had an apple for afternoon break. For dinner we went with friends to Hog Wild. Had a huge beef sandwich.

Did not do any walking or exercise.

Had a chocolate smoothee  for breakfast. For morning break I had a chocolate snack bar. For lunch I had leftover frozen pizza. Had an apple for afternoon break. For dinner we had leftover spaghetti and meatballs.

Walked on the treadmill for 46 minutes and burned 506 calories

Back from Las Vegas. Good to be home.

Came back at a decent weight for eating and drinking whatever I wanted. I did get a fair amount of exercise walking to and from the hotel and the Las Vegas Convention Center, plus working.

I started some of my days with a smoothee (If I didn't have time for the complimentary breakfast) and usually had a meal bar for lunch.

Today I had a cafe latte smoothee for breakfast. I had a butter peanut snack bar for morning break. For lunch I had a blueberry almond crunch meal-in-a-bar. For dinner we had beef stew.

Walked on the treadmill for the first time since last Thursday. Walked for 46 minutes and burned 506 calories.

More carbs again.

Had a chocolate smoothee for breakfast. Had vanilla sugar wafers for morning break, leftover cube steak and an orange for lunch, and an apple for afternoon break. For dinner we had spaghetti and meatballs again.

Walked on the treadmill for 46 minutes and burned 506 calories.
